15. Home to stay! Celebrate Showhomes styled this Shaugnessy home for a new Canadian family…by Jianni Fletcher
Another one of our custom home make-overs was needed for this project.
This luxurious pre-furnished home in Shaugnessy’s elite neighborhood, that an asian buyer and his family had just moved into, was the setting for another makeover by the Celebrate Showhomes team. This young asian family found out about us by way of Kathy Wang, a relocation specialist who has worked on many relocation stylings with our close friend Lani Clark Morand, an amazing stylist in her own right. Lani specifically recommended our talents for this project. No home being too big or too small for us, we accepted it gratefully.
At first sight it looked professionally decored, but lacked symmetry, color and accents to show forth its full potential.
Our ace painter/venetian plaster specialist, Darrell Morrison, first laid the backdrop to the styling with colors that harmonized well with the decor pieces we brought in. His scope and expertise extend far beyond his masterful painting skills that have complimented the greater portion of our stylings over the years. Next, Alexandra and Debbie took the matter well in hand and provided the charge of life that each room in the house was in need of. We brought in a sofa, tables, lamps, chairs, artwork, customized the existing curtains and brought in new curtains where they were lacking. We also raised and dressed the beds and improved the scale, style and color accents of all the rooms in the house.
Speaking very little english we received the thumbs-up approval from the owners, and as in many of our past stylings, the kids were over the top excited with the transformation not just in their rooms but in the overall inviting warmth and cheeriness of the house.

When it came time to sell our executive house in South Surrey we made the decision to stage with Celebrate Showhomes to enhance the appeal of our home to prospective buyers.
I would like to say how very impressed I was with the professionalism and artistry of Alexandra, Jianni and their crew, as they applied their staging talents to market our home. The result was breathtaking, truly transforming our personalized and family oriented décor into a modern, well conceived show-home look.

12. Surrey Jewel – Hot Sale! …
Miraculous Sale Brings Peace….by Wendy S. (seller)
After becoming a casualty of the economy I found myself in the unfortunate circumstance of needing to sell my townhouse before I wanted to.
In order to keep from losing money, my Realtor Ken highly suggested that I get my place staged. Although I had done improvements over the last few years, he felt that it was necessary in order to obtain maximum dollar.
Alexandra and Jianni came for their initial visit. It was a real pleasure to meet them. I now had a “to do” list but was happy to oblige. I couldn’t wait to see what they were planning. What I didn’t know was that they were already working their magic behind the scene.
Once the final staging day came, I was very excited. When I arrived for the reveal I was completely amazed!! I walked into my home and couldn’t believe it was my house! It actually made me cry as I didn’t think my place could look so beautiful. It was just like you see on TV. They not only knew what to do for selling purposes but everything they did was completely “me”. I would not have changed a thing. I only wish I could keep it for good.
For the next couple of weeks my son and I actually found ourselves feeling more at peace even under this stressful time. My place was transformed into this tranquil and inviting home. The photos they took made my place look like a magazine. My friends, family and neighbors all reacted the same way, lots of ‘wows and aaah’ comments.
We had 1 open house and multiple offers on the table the very next day. Not only did my house sell quickly but it sold for $15,000 more than it was listed for. We broke the record in the complex for the highest sale and set a new standard. My realtor and Celebrate Showhomes made a great team and they pulled off what I can only describe as a miracle.
With much thanks to Ken Chouinard, Alexandra and Jianni and their team, I now have been given the opportunity to buy back into the market when I thought I was out for good.
I will definitely do this again in the future and know who to call.
