2. Property Merchandising Should ALWAYS be about the Details…

Blog Header-Script

With Home Styling becoming more and more main stream I am noticing that what sets good Home Styling’s apart from that of a Fantastic Home  is the attention paid to detail. Often times when working with a home, we can get a bit complacent about how far the project should go.  Stylists may ask themselves, should this wall be painted, should this light fixture be changed, would a wrecking ball help, .. ok maybe not the last one, but if we choose to accept certain limitations of a space what is the point of styling it?!

Case in point… Celebrate Showhomes was called in to quote a beautiful Rancher in Ladner. The home had a little bit of remodeling and painting done but the Realtor felt very strongly about the home being shown styled, so much so, that the seller had no choice in the matter. In fact we never met with the owner until after the project was completed!

We pumped-up the space with curtains, rugs, artwork, new light fixture in the dining room, had an ugly oak counter/cupboard monstrosity removed that was separating the family room from the kitchen eating area,  and topped it all off with our usual all-out styling approach.  Et voila…
